CHAPTER 64 As she sat in silence wondering where he was taking her, ” Are you hungry?”, she heard him ask. “I’m starving. Had a sandwich for lunch but that was not at all filling”, she complained as he brought the car to a halt. She waited as he parked the car parallel to the curb and as he switched the ignition off she unbuckled her seat belt. “You wait here. I will be right back”, he told her and got off the car without giving her any time to react. Not understanding why she wasn’t allowed to accompany him, as she buckled back her seat belt and kept looking at the cars passing by , it took him more than five minutes to return. “Now where did he go leaving me alone in this car??, she muttered, looking in the direction in which he left but there was no trace of him around. “ Should I give him a call? “, she wondered as she took out her phone to dial his number and that’s when he opened the door and got into the car. “Where did you vanish?”, she asked and would had gone ahead with her q...

CHAPTER 62 “So you both are good friends??”, asked Mrs.Malhotra, as soon as she and Kushi sat in their respective seats. “Who?”, asked Kushi, buckling up her seat belt. “Arnav and you! Who else??”, responded Mrs.Malhotra settling in her seat. “WHAT?? HE!! Don’t even take his name in front of me, Aunty. And do you know what all he said”, asked Kushi and without bothering to see Mrs.Malhotra’s reaction, she went on talking about Arnav. Watching Kushi’s interest in talking about the man for whom she declared her hatred just few seconds ago, ...

CHAPTER 60 As her scream reached the ears of the people who were upstairs,in their respective bedrooms, they rushed out of their rooms to check on her. And hearing the commotion while Arnav quickly  shoved her belonging back into his pocket, Kushi just watched his action with her wide open eyes. “Kushi! Are you okay? What happened?”, inquired Sakshi who was the first one to come downstairs while the others followed her. But none of her words reached the girl’s ears who seemed to be in shock with her gaze glued to Arnav’s pocket. “What’s wrong with her? And why is she staring you?”, asked a confused Aarthi following Kushi’s gaze for which Arnav just shrugged and denied any knowledge. “She must have had a nightmare”, said Rishi rubbing his eyes, looking at his sister who looked so shocked as if she had seen a ghost. “For god’s sake.. she wasn’t sleeping Rishi. How will she get a nightmare. Not often but at least sometimes do try to use that brain of yours”, said Sakshi, who was ...

With just two weeks time for the wedding, Kushi’s focus shifted to the Sangeet preparations and she invited her friend’s home on a Sunday morning to plan for the Sangeet. The girls assembled in her room and were listening to various hit songs, shortlisting the ones which all the four of them agreed upon when  something caught Preeti’s attention and she walked towards the balcony. Even after a minute when she didn’t return and didn’t care to look behind, ” What are you doing there?”, asked Pragya for which she got no response from Preeti. “Now what is she staring at?”, said Kushi as she got down the bed and went towards Preeti with the other two girls following her. On reaching the balcony they looked in the direction in which Preeti was looking and stood still eyeing the sight in the lawn. There he was, jogging in the lawn in black pants and a grey  sleeveless active wear tee, with the tee hugging his bo...
